STHOG Planning Meeting

6pm in the HOG room….

The leadership asks anyone with ideas, input, or interest in the event planning for our chapter to please attend the planning meeting.  These meetings are used to brainstorm and schedule events for chapter member participation.  We try to schedule events from 3 to 6 months in advance so the calendar can be updated.  That way we and the dealership can coordinate events and members can plan vacations ahead of time.

Social hour starts at 6:00 pm.  Bring your dinner with you and visit around the table.
The meeting begins at 7:00 pm and usually lasts about an hour.  If you have suggestions or ideas please let bring those up.

Southern Thunder Harley-Davidson is sponsoring a Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday October, 30 from 1:00 PM thru 5:00 PM.

Participants are asked to present their bikes with the tour pack / saddle bag open with candy available so children can come to “Trunk or Treat”. Feel free to dress your bike as spooky as you like. Please note that you do not have to dress either your bike OR yourself to participate in “Trunk or Treat”.
The dealership will provide candy or if you are so inclined please bring candy/treats to share/donate.

Also the dealership is sponsoring a spooktacular costume contest that you can enter. Best costumed adult get a $100.00 gift card, best costumed kid gets $50.00 and best costumed pet gets $25.00. Feel free to decorate your vehicle in a spooktacular way!
Keep in mind this is a kid-friendly event.

If we have members who would like to volunteer, the dealership has agreed to provide hotdogs / hamburgers for us to cook during the Halloween event on Saturday October, 30.

We would need 3-4 people to cook / serve food.
if we get enough volunteers any donations received would be given to the chapter.
If we don’t get enough to do the cooking, John Cronnelly would let any who did volunteer know that the cooking is off.
